Hello world!

Welcome to my wordpress blog…

About me:

My name is Tarynne Goldenberg, and I’m from New York. I attended Syracuse University where I got my degree in Communications, more specifically graphic design. The program was very heavy on the publishing side of design, which is how I got into print design. I spent a year and a half working as the Associate Art Director for a publishing company in Westchester County in New York doing layout and art direction for several local magazines. I decided to apply to Parsons when I became interested in animation and other 3-D media, and intended to study character animation…until I went through bootcamp. I’m not exactly sure what I want to do with my time here at Parsons, but I do know that I want to learn as much as I possibly can. This semester I’m taking motion graphics and intro to broadcast, but this is more of a trial path. I love typography and playing around with layering transparencies, which I usually try and incorporate into all my design work.

My favorite childhood toys were mystery games, like where in the world is carmen sandiego, or clue.
